Mama’s Lil’ Yella Pils, Dale’s Pale Ale & Old Chub – Oskar Blues Brewing

On our recent trip down to Kansas City, Missouri Jeff and I found a number of great beers available at their massive liquor stores. It seems that size brings variety, and boy did we take advantage of it.

Today we try three cans, all from Oskar Blues Brewing out of Longmont, Colorado. We had heard good things from many other online reviewers and knew that (especially) Dale’s Pale Ale had good buzz in the community.

As we like to start our review with the lightest beer, we started off with Mama’s Lil’ Yella Pils before moving on to the famed Dale’s Pale Ale. Finally we finished off with Old Chub, a Wee Heavy Scotch Ale.

All were delicious, but it has to be said that we both liked Old Chub the best of the three.
